Time to RestPosted: September 19, 2012
The bed is done.
Err – almost, I have to get some dowel for the countersunk screws on the footer. And we are planning on getting a rug to break up the continuous wood of bed and floor a little.
The plywood on the sides extents a bit past the bottom. I did this so the footer could have a groove in it to accept the plywood and make it appear like a tighter joint. Instead of taking my router out of the table, I used my grandpas (maybe great grandpas?) router plane. I used his block plane for the chamfer and miter on the bed top. Tools were meant to be used.
